Jayson Tatum's Late-Game Heroics Lead Celtics to Victory

Celtics Hold Off Pacers 129-124

Jayson Tatum was the hero for the Boston Celtics as they eked out a 129-124 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. Tatum erupted for 30 points and came up with several crucial blocks down the stretch to help the Celtics seal the win.

Tatum's Explosive Performance

Tatum was on fire from the start, scoring 15 points in the first half to lead the Celtics to a 64-58 advantage at the break. He continued to pour it on in the second half, finishing the game with 30 points on 11-of-19 shooting, including 6-of-12 from three-point range.

Clutch Blocks

In addition to his scoring, Tatum also made his presence felt on the defensive end. With the Pacers trailing by just one point in the final minute, Tatum came up with two huge blocks to deny Indiana the chance to tie the game. His second block, on a layup attempt by Tyrese Haliburton with just seconds remaining, sealed the victory for the Celtics.

Celtics Move to 24-15

With the win, the Celtics improved their record to 24-15 on the season. They remain in third place in the Eastern Conference, but now trail the Milwaukee Bucks by just one game. The Pacers, meanwhile, fell to 20-20 on the season and are now in eighth place in the East.
